Prophecy became a home for those words. Soft washes of pink, grey and blue are interrupted by flashes of neon, darker marks and fragmented forms, while the words sit quietly within the painting rather than dominating it. For me, it's a piece about the strange certainty of loving someone for a long time. Not knowing exactly what the future holds, but somehow being able to see them in it.
Sometimes forever isn't a promise. It's a prediction.
